Compac Industries, Inc. began as a manufacturer of weather stripping and bathroom accessories in 1974.  Frederick R. Hart bought the company in 1980 with a desire to expand Compac's business.

Compac offered its “famous” Safe-T-Shapes bathtub appliques, the leader of its bathroom accessories line.  However, its weather stripping line, by far, carried the Company’s business...up to 1986.  With costs rising on foam and other needed materials, Mr. Hart made the decision to change product lines and exited the weather stripping business to enter the kitchen gadget industry.

The Sink Daisy (lemon scent) and Mayoknife were the two items that he started with.  Since that time Compac has expanded its product line, within the bathroom accessories and kitchen gadgets, to include over forty items.

The Safe-T-Shapes is still the number one selling item for Compac and is the number one bathtub applique on the market! It is followed closely by the Sink Daisy (offered in more scents now).  Compac is constantly seeking new and innovative product ideas to attract customers and meet their needs.

Our items can be found all over the U.S.A. in supermarkets, discount stores, pharmacies, dollar stores, and other retail outlets.  International expansion is also placing the items in the hands of people all around the world.
